General tips and steps to making vegan fish fry
Initially, you need to start with boiling the soya chunk first! Then place them in a mixer so you can grind them up. You must blend them in a mixture until they turn into absolute crumbs. You need a raw peeled banana in the next step! Take the soya crumbs on a plate and then some boiled potatoes as well. Blend these two ingredients with the soya chunk crumbs to create a solid dough. There are some spices that you are likely to need with the dough! These include garam masala, turmeric powder, cumin powder, black pepper, salt, and so on. Ensure that everything is well combined.
If you are making diamond fish fry then give it the shape of a diamond structure, you can also make a miniature fish with this dough! Use a mold if you want. Poke some holes so that the air can escape while frying. Coat the whole thing with a rava mixture.
Now heat some oil and place the rava-coated fish fry into the pan. Make sure that the oil is optimally heated on a medium flame. If the oil is cold then the fish fry will soak up excess oil while placing them in extremely heated oil can turn the surface brown while the center will remain undercooked. While frying the fish cutlet make sure you do not touch the piece at least for a minute once they are placed in the pan otherwise they will likely disintegrate. After a while, you can flip sides to ensure both sides have turned golden and crisp.
For garnishing the fries before serving, you can use chopped coriander and mint. Some dip or ketchup bowl on the side and you are good to go!
How can you store the extra fries?
If you have extra fries then do not fry them immediately! After marinating with bread crumbs or rava dust, you can refrigerate them! A freezer bag can also be used for storing the extra! Later on, you can thaw them in the refrigerator and enjoy them whenever you want. This is an incredible idea to make sure your taste buds are not deprived. So get going!
